Celebrity Education: Sara Ali Khan's Academic Prowess Contrasted with Other Stars' School Stories
The cast of the upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' recently reunited on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' bringing laughter and candid moments to the forefront. Host Kapil Sharma shared a behind-the-scenes clip revealing personal anecdotes, jokes, and surprising academic confessions from the stars.
Kapil Sharma initiated the discussion by inquiring about Sara Ali Khan's life before her film career. Sara responded, "I was studying. I’ve studied history, political science… I’ve studied a lot," highlighting her strong academic background.
Fatima Sana Shaikh praised Sara's educational achievements, but then shared her own experience. "I dropped out after failing 12th standard," she admitted. "I used to fail a lot. I got 55 percent in 12th.”
Adding to the mix, veteran actor Anupam Kher confessed, "I scored 38 percent in 12th." Kapil Sharma playfully chimed in with his own score of 44 percent. Anupam Kher then addressed the audience with a smile, "Despite this, here we are sitting on this stage," emphasizing that academic scores don't always define success.
Kapil Sharma also joked about Sara Ali Khan's fondness for mountainous retreats, asking, "She loves mountains so much that as soon as shooting ends, she goes off to climb one... Do you go to the mountains to look for a husband?” Sara responded, “If that were true, there would be a queue of boys waiting for me.”
The conversation shifted to director Anurag Basu’s unique directing style. Kapil teased that Anurag Basu hands out dialogues at the very last minute, joking, “Is your printer not working?”
Aditya Roy Kapur shared his perspective on Anurag Basu's methods, saying, “There’s no pressure on his set because you don’t really know what you’re doing. If the work turns out badly, it’s his fault.”
'Metro… In Dino' is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 4.
