However, in a recent interview, he explained his approach to interacting with people regardless of their faith and why he holds all religions in high regard.
"When I interact with individuals, their religious affiliation is not my primary focus. I simply see them as people," Aamir Khan stated during an interview with The Lallantop. He further elaborated, "Religion is such a sensitive subject that I usually avoid discussing it publicly. It is a deeply personal matter for every individual. I respect people of all faiths and their chosen paths of worship."
Aamir Khan's comments underscore his careful and considerate approach to matters of faith. By describing religion as "a very personal thing," he emphasizes the importance of allowing individuals to pursue their spiritual journeys without external pressure. Aamir Khan's interest in spiritual narratives extends to his professional aspirations. He expressed a deep admiration for Lord Krishna and the lessons derived from the Bhagavad Gita.
"It's hard to fully articulate the impact Lord Krishna has had on me. The stories and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita offer a very profound philosophy. I see him as a very complete person," Aamir Khan revealed.
He also shared his aspiration to portray Krishna on screen, stating, "I do wish to play Lord Krishna on screen. Let's see if that could be possible."
Aamir Khan has frequently spoken about his ambition to create a film adaptation of the Mahabharata. Although rumors of the project surface periodically, no concrete plans have been confirmed. Nevertheless, the actor has consistently expressed his deep connection to the epic tale.
