According to a report in Mid-Day, Ranveer Singh is in advanced discussions to star in Maddock Films' next installment in the horror-comedy franchise. The Maddock Films horror-comedy universe already includes a stellar cast featuring names like Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and even Akshay Kumar. If the rumors are true, Ranveer Singh may potentially lead the next film, which is expected to feature epic crossovers with previous characters in future movies.

A source close to the production revealed to Mid-Day that, “Ranveer has been in conversations with Dinesh for a while. He was at the Maddock office last week. The makers wanted a fresh energy to drive the next chapter, and Ranveer is keen to explore the genre. The paperwork is likely to be completed soon.”

Currently, the actor is immersed in filming Dhurandhar, which has a stellar cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna.

As of now, neither Ranveer Singh nor Maddock Films have officially confirmed their involvement in the upcoming horror film.
