His aggressive approach enabled India to chase down England's challenging target of 269 runs in a rain-shortened 40-over match with 34.3 overs to spare. Suryavanshi reached his fifty in a mere 20 balls.
Suryavanshi's incredible innings featured the most sixes by an Indian batter in Youth ODIs, surpassing the previous record of eight jointly held by Raj Angad Bawa and Mandeep Singh.
His 20-ball half-century is also the second-fastest by an Indian in youth ODIs, only trailing Rishabh Pant's 18-ball blitz against Nepal U19 in 2016.
The Rajasthan Royals player's boundary-hitting prowess was on full display, with 78 of his 86 runs coming via fours and sixes.
