Australia batter Steve Smith is likely to play in the second Test against the West Indies, revealed head coach Andrew McDonald. Smith missed the first Test after sustaining a finger injurey during the World Test Championship (WTC) final 2025 vs South Africa.

West Indies head coach Darren Sammy has been fined by the ICC (International Cricket Council) for openly criticising umpire Adrian Holdstock during the first Test against Australia in Barbados.
