Sindhu's World Championships Run Ends in Quarterfinal Heartbreak; Medal Hopes Dashed

PV Sindhu's quest for a record sixth World Championships medal ended in a quarterfinal defeat against Indonesia's Putri Kusuma Wardani. Despite a strong second-game comeback, Sindhu faltered in the decider, allowing Wardani to secure the victory. Earlier, India's mixed doubles pair also exited, losing to Malaysian opponents Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei.
