Former India cricketers Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh have joined the men's national team selection committee. Delhi's Amita Sharma has been appointed chairperson of the Women's selection committee, while Mumbai's Sulakshana Naik and Shravanti Naidu from Hyderabad join in too. The women's committee also has Shyama Dey and Jaya Sharma. S Sharath meanwhile, has been named the chairman of the junior selection panel. Sharath was part of the senior panel from 2023.

Meanwhile, Mithun Manhas has been elected unopposed as BCCI president, along with the other office bearers. Rajeev Shukla will be his deputy as Vice President and Raghuram Bhat has been confirmed as Treasurer. Devajit Saikia will continue as secretary while Prabhtej Bhatia joins him as joint-secretary.

Jayesh George will be the Chairperson for WPL committee while Rohan Jaitley will assume the same role in the Infrastructure Committee.

During the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), it was also decided that an U16 player cannot play IPL unless he has represented his state in Ranji Trophy for at least one game.
