But the origins lie with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger.' The film was a huge hit and courted massive love from the audience. It was released 13 years ago in theaters. Now, reportedly, the movie will be out in cinemas once again.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, a blockbuster hit of 2012, 'Ek Tha Tiger', starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as leads, is set to re-release in theaters. However, the re-release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Box office collection of 'Ek Tha Tiger'
According to the Sacnilk report, Salman Khan's spy drama earned Rs 320 crore at the global box office. Reportedly, it collected Rs 263 crore gross and Rs 198.78 crore nett in India after its release in 2012. The movie is the first film of the YRF Spy Universe.

The film, directed by Kabir Khan, also featured Ranvir Shorey, Girish Karnad, and Gavie Chahal in key roles. Salman Khan played the role of Tiger, while Katrina Kaif essayed the role of Zoya in the film.
Salman Khan on the workfront
Salman Khan will next feature in a war drama titled 'Battle of Galwan'. Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China.
Salman Khan was last seen in 'Sikandar', which was released in March earlier this year. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film featured Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Smita Patil, and Anjini Dhawan. It was touted as Khan's comeback film, but failed to draw the audience into the theaters. According to the Sacnilk report, the worldwide collection of 'Sikandar' was Rs 184 crore at the box office. The film minted Rs 184.6 gross and 110.1 net domestically.
