Afghanistan will be touring Zimbabwe again to play a one-off Test and three T20Is, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed on Wednesday (October 1). The tour will kickstart later this month with the one-off Test from October 20 before the three T20Is scheduled on October 29, October 31 and November 2.
The one-off Test will be Zimbabwe's 10th in the format this year having already played against Ireland, Bangladesh, England, South Africa and New Zealand.
This will be Afghanistan's second tour to Zimbabwe in less than a year. They had arrived in Zimbabwe 10 months ago to play a full-fledged tour where they won the series in all three formats.
"We are delighted to be hosting Afghanistan once again, this time for a one-off Test followed by three T20Is in Harare," ZC Managing Director Givemore Makoni said. "Encounters between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan have become keenly contested and entertaining, and we are confident this upcoming tour will deliver more of the same for our fans."
